OceanWay will be located 27 miles offshore Los Angeles' coast, far from populated areas, and five miles beyond the commercial shipping lanes. OceanWay's ships will adhere to safeguards not found anywhere else in the shipping industry: They will U.S. flagged, U. S. crewed and subject to U.S. safety standards.
OceanWay offshore operations will be regulated by the United States Coast with help from local agencies such as the County Sheriffs and the Maritime Exchange. The U.S. Navy will also coordinate with OceanWay operations to help ensure maximum safety during cargo transfers and deliveries.
